Loving Light

DAILY POST: From the Top – If you had the chance to be reborn, would you choose to return as your present self, or would you opt for a fresh start? Tell us about what motivates your choice.  Thanks for the interesting prompt suggestion, Subhash Chatterji!——————————————–

No thanks. I don’t want to come back, despite the many moments of joy and happiness this life has given me. Life is basically a stepping stone, a place of learning and Pain is the Master Teacher.

lightNDEWhen my life is finally finished here, I would prefer to meld into that light that everyone talks about during near death experiences. Yes, be a part of that welcoming, loving light forevermore.

  1. You will eventually be in a better place. Hard to believe right now, but it will happen.

    • Yes, that is true. In reading that I have done, many said that there is no time frame for grief/sorrow. But every day I awaken, I find purpose and “do” what I need to do.

I think the first year will be the toughest as anniversaries of his death pass each month, and then the holidays and his birthday. It’s going to be a long road, but, I will come through the storm. Thanks Marilyn.

      • I believe time is the only real healer. It’s not that you will ever stop missing him or being sad when you think of him, but it will be less sharp, gentler. The good memories will regain prominence. No words will make it better. There’s no “right way” to grieve.
