Life is too short to procrastinate – in any regard. It’s too short to postpone an apology or admit you were wrong, if in fact it was you who was wrong. Don’t apologize for something you didn’t do. Don’t apologize just to appease someone who isn’t worth keeping in your life, especially if they are the ones who truly need to be apologizing to you. Life’s too short to carry dilapidated emotional baggage, sort through it one last time, cry your tears, admit your losses and leave that heap of disaster at the dump with everyone else’s garbage – memories, failures, losses and heart-breaking relationships.
Life is also too short to not take a break from paying bills and writing on my blog so that I can just relax and watch my newest DVD, Maleficent.
Life is also too short to worry about the weeds that need to be pulled from the front flower bed. They won’t be going anywhere, especially after tonight’s freeze, they’ll be there in the spring. Besides, tomorrow I have another steroid epidural and I want to enjoy the few days of absolute pain-free existence for a week and a half.
That’s another one, life is too short to not be pain-free… at least for a little while.
