Share Your World – Cee’s Week 40

Cee’s Share Your World – Week 40. POSTED ON OCTOBER 6, 2014 –

You’re given $500,000 dollars tax free (any currency), what do you spend it on?

First, I would donate one-sixth of the money to a worthy charity. I would do extensive investigating prior to my donation, VERY extensive investigation. With the remaining five-sixths, I would split it equally, five ways, between my four sons and a trust fund for myself.

What’s the finest education?

The finest education begins at home, in a mother’s hugs, at the end of her helping hands, upon her tender lap and soft lips that pour out loving direction and encouragement. It is there, before any form of social education begins that we learn ‘who’ we are and what we can expect to accomplish in our life – all from the power of Mother. Not all mothers are good teachers though. Some of us have learned great negativity, low self-esteem, lies and fear from our mothers. We spend the rest of our lives trying to un-learn what we have been taught.

What kind of art is your favorite? Why?

My favorite art style is that which most resembles a photograph and the subject is of nature, or, well, anything really. I have seen so many photographs from photographers at WordPress that I consider them to be art and the photographers true artists! I do like the Dutch Masters. I do not like Picasso or that soup can guy. I didn’t do drugs and never got stoned, so, my sense of beauty is in the reality that I live in day by day.

Is there something that you memorized long ago and still remember?

Kindergarten songs from back in 1958, I’m a Little Teapot, Ring Around the Rosie and The Itsy Bitsy Spider. There was another one about Grandfather’s clock, but I cannot remember it.

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am grateful that when my husband went in for an arteriogram to clear out a section of 95% blocked artery in his leg, he survived and we arrived home safely when I was driving. I am always grateful to arrive safely anywhere when I am the driver!

  1. I love your comments! I am into reality in art too – there is enough craziness going on in the world and I prefer to see beauty. Cee is one of the wonderful photographers you mention, who capture that beauty.
